With more than 2 decades of teaching credibility and ongoing involvement in Dancehall since 1999, Latonya has vast knowledge about the History of Jamaican Dances, and can take her students on a Journey from Mento, Ska, Rocksteady, Reggae thru to Dancehall.
Her main focus however, is on Dancehall #TECHNIQUE & #THEORY as well as other aspects of the popular dance genre including the #HISTORY the #JOURNEY and the #EVOLUTION.
Latonya is the CEO of the World Renowned DanceJa Movement / Dance Jamaica Cultural Centre and is on a mission to preserve, protect and promote the Jamaican Dancehall Culture and give back to the dancehall community in Jamaica.
