Stacia Edwards, more popularly known as “Stacia Fya” is highly respected in the dancehall fraternity and has a reputation of being mature, professional and dedicated to her craft. Stacia resides in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, and is the mother of 2 girls (ages 16 and 2). She practices Healthy Lifestyle and is a conscious Rastafarian.

Stacia’s longevity, idiosyncrasy and female power, continues to attract the attention of dancers globally, as they discover that she is the creator of several steps such as I-Bless, I-Juk, I-Touch, Confidence, Tek it, Come Yah, Glamarus, Victorius, Fabulus, Kantankarus, Lushus, Snake Charmer, Ma Success and A Wha.

Stacia Fya holds the Job Titles Creative Manager, Casting Agent and Dance Instructor at Dance Jamaica Cultural Centre / DanceJa Skool. Her Dancehall workshops are all about technique, feeling, attitude, while flaunting the body in an environment of high energy and good vibes. Stacia showcases a range of authentic dancehall movements, merging old and new dancehall steps, with a mix of Traditional Afrocentric moves, creating a magical hybrid. She is strong, patient and has good communication skills, therefore, her students enjoy the wonderful experience of learning form her.
